Cage The Elephant played a sold out show at The Upstate Music Hall in Clifton Park, New York. Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised to see a band with this much energy. Starting the show with “Spider Head” and quickly going into “In One Ear”. Matt Shultz jumped, kicked, bounced and crowd surfed much of the night. Slowing it down with “Cigarette Daydream” the band had the crowd in the palm of their hands. The band went through their catalog of songs each one blending in a way that made their set fly by! Closing the show with “Sabertooth” the chaotic Matt Shultz once again jumped into the crowd who loved every minute of it! I’m glad I saw this band in a small club because I see much bigger things in their future.
