Tearing things up, Kentucky style, from the Legendary Shack Shakers member.
Country punk pioneer J.D. Wilkes has recorded with the likes of Merle Haggard, John Carter Cash and Hank Williams III, landed on the soundtrack of last season’s True Blood, and is a founder of the Legendary Shack Shakers. He’s also a Colonel in the state of Kentucky.
Wilkes’ new band, The Dirt Daubers, have plugged in and signed with Plowboy Records for their latest album, ‘Wild Moon,’ which was produced by punk legend Cheetah Chrome and is due out this fall. More info coming soon.
