Swervedriver Reunites for LP, Tour; Listen to 1st Single

S-driver band

Never lose that feeling lads…

By Blurt Staff

The mighty Swervedriver is back: although the legendary UK psych/hard-rockin’ (and frequently miscategorized as “shoegaze”) band has toured over the past decade and a half, we haven’t had a new studio album since 99th Dream in ’98. To rectify that, Adam Franklin, Jimmy Hartridge & Co. have announced the the impending release of I Wasn’t Born to Lose You, due March 3 on distributor (and sorta-label) Cobraside.

You can hear the first single “Setting Sun” below (it drops physically and digitally next week, Jan. 13, backed with a killer cover of Television’s “Days”), and additionally view the spring tour dates, which include stops in Austin during SXSW.
