Listen to the New Beach House Single

Beach House

Awesome track comes from new album due out in August.

I get back to the office from my summer vacation (hiking in the mountains, thanks for asking! I got beestings and poison ivy…), and the first thing I get to hear is this new Beach House tune, “Sparks.” I adore the duo, and this is one of the best things they’ve ever done – the perfect teaser for the new album, Depression Cherry, due out August 28 on Sub Pop. Check it out:

Depression Cherry was produced and recorded over the span of two months by the band and Chris Coady at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana. LP and CD versions of Depression Cherry will come packaged in a sumptuous red velvet sleeve, and there will be a special clear vinyl Loser Edition for the LP. Incidentally, Beach House will start their worldwide tour in support of Depression Cherry August 18th in Portland, ME at the State Theatre and end their 2015 dates with a sold-out 3-night stand December 17-19 in San Francisco at The Fillmore.
