Concert was held in July at Chicago for the Pitchfork fest.

“Land ho!” So shouted Corin Tucker, of the righteously rockin’ gals Sleater-Kinney, at the beginning of their July 18 concert in Chicago. One of the headliners at the annual Pitchfork Music Festival, they clearly came loaded for bear and proceeded to shoot out the proverbial lights. The show was webcast, and thanks to the good folks over at Big O Zine it’s now been posted for free MP3 download, including artwork suitable for printing out.
The full tracklisting below. The sound quality is outstanding. Featuring old faves and material from No Cities In Love, it was clearly an awe-inspiring show, content-wise. As the Billboard.com reviewer put it:
From set opener “The Fox” onward, [Corin Tucker’s] reverberating howl tore through the guitar pileups and demanded full attention. The rapport between Tucker and Brownstein’s guitars was beyond crisp, and new tracks like “Price Tag,” “Bury Our Friends” and “Fangless” fit in snugly next to “Jumpers” and “Dig Me Out.”
