An eclectic pile-up of Big Apple-centric artists will converge at Bowery Electric Sunday (Nov. 24) for a just-announced Lou Reed tribute concert. Among the heavy hitters are Lenny Kaye, Arto Lindsay, Kevn Kinney, Tunde Adebimpe and Ivan Julian. According to Brooklyn Vegan, Tickets for the show are on sale now, and all proceeds will benefit the Ali Forney Center, an organization ‘that works to protect LGBT youth from the harm of homelessness in the city.’ There will also be a pre-Thanksgiving food drive for Food Bank of NYC at the venue that night.”
