It’s a breeze!
The new Mirah album Changing Light will be touching down May 13th on Mirah’s own self-funded label called Absolute Magnitude Recordings (which is being distributed through K Records, a unique arrangement to say the least. Call it an iconoclastic label serves as a key patron for an iconoclastic artist and you won’t be too far off. Here’s an early peek at the track “Oxen Hope”:
Album guests include Greg Saunier (Deerhoof), Mary Timony, Heather McEntire (Mount Moriah), and others, and producer Eli Crews co-produced several tracks with Mirah in her new hometown of Brooklyn. This is her first full length release since the 2011’s Thao & Mirah collaboration, and 2009’s (a)spera.
