Should go down sweet, just like honey…
By Barbi Martinez, Blurt Intern
Although the Jesus And Mary Chain has continued to tour on and off in recent years since their 2007 reunion – including a high profile trek in 2012 that found the entire Blurt staff swooning during a Raleigh, NC, performance – the ever-volatile Reid brothers have only recently seemed interested in cashing in on their early reputation as postpunk provocateurs. So now, 30 years after the release of their classic, mega-influential album Psychocandy the group has decided to do a modest run of North American tour dates in which they will be performing the record in its entirety. This comes on the heels of UK shows late last year. Tour dates are below; tickets go on sale Friday.
