Here’s the Jack White Album Stream, New Live Video & Laundry-airing

Some days you write the news, other days the news writes itself….

Gawd, I loved the White Stripes. I wanted to be Meg White, because I was an aspiring rock drummer, sooooooo bad. I miss her terribly, too, but that isn’t stopping me from wanting to be in Jack White’s band. (Call me, maybe, Jack?) So it’s always a pantheon day (look it up) when I can post some JW news to Blurt. In order of importance, then:

–his new album, Lazaretto, is streaming a week ahead of its June 10 release at iTunes.

–there’s a lot of ground covered in the new JW cover story for Rolling Stone, including stuff about his feud with the Black Keys, which he has subsequently written a very personal blog post (in which he apologizes to the Keys, Meg White, Adele and other folks he worries he may have accidentally dissed) at his own website.

Jack RS

–and here’s a somewhat iffy video from the Free Press Summer Festival last night in Houston that’s still awesome (check the hair for proof) as it finds Jack debuting new song “Temporary Ground” in advance of the album
