Album Stream Premiere: Asheville’s The Toothe

Toothe

Now that’s the kind of musical apocalypse we can sink our teeth into….

By Blurt Staff

Asheville’s The Toothe are set to release The Talons EP, in their words “a six-song foray into a hook-laden and intensely engaging sound” they describe as “Apocalyptic Americana.” Works for us! Should work for YOU, too, especially if you’re a fan of Fleet Foxes or the Avett Brothers. And we’re pretty stoked to offer you a stream of the tunes right here, right now:

The Toothe share a musical chemistry born of a lifetime of collaboration and experimentation. Raised in the same small Piedmont town, they relocated to the NC mountains to explore and develop their mutual love of song. The fruit of their partnership has often been shockingly eclectic, including a Norwegian Black Metal project, a disturbingly dark Children’s Album, and several self-released records worth of deceptively charming, patently weird Folk Noir.
