Ryan Adams Recording With Deadmau5

It’s the diva summit of the year!

By Perez Mills

The once-prolific Ryan Adams, sidelined somewhat in recent years by a protracted battle with Meniere’s Disease, appears to be making up for lost time now: first writing for and recording with wife Mandy Moore, then just recently reportedly signing on to play drums on the upcoming Lemonheads album, is now apparently collaborating with everybody’s favorite mouthy, jerky EDM superstar Deadmau5.

As Pitchfork reports: Adams recently tweeted, Recording a track with my new pal @deadmau5 today. Sounds like BladeRunner starring Don Henley.” He also Tweeted the
above photo of the two palling around together. (For his part, Deadmau5 Instagrammed a photo of Adams and captioned it “@theryanadams singin words n shit.”)

Coming soon: Adams joins the Rolling Stones while Ron Wood works out all those “personal issues”…. Read our current Adams/Whiskeytown story elsewhere today on the BLURT website, by the way. We interview Adams’ biographer David Menconi and get the inside scoop.
