Billboard.com reports: After Bruce Springsteen’s song
“We Take Care Of Our Own” was played at the end of President Obama’s
speech at the convention on Sept. 6,
the song surged with a 409% sales gain. In the week ending Sept. 9, it sold 2,000 downloads — its best sales
week since March. “We Take Care Of Our Own’s” parent album,
“Wrecking Ball,” also sees a sales increase. It rises from No. 199 to
No. 112 on the Billboard 200 chart with 3,000 sold (a weekly gain of 37%).
