Well, that would be
one way to liven up what pundits are already predicting will be a dull as nails

Heading into the weekend, the top news making the media
rounds has to be that Who drummer, hell-raiser, raconteur and bon vivat Keith
Moon – dead since 1978 at the age of 32 – was recently offered a spot at the
upcoming London Olympics as a featured performer. Apparently his presence was
requested as part of Brit-centric pop culture celebration called the Symphony
of Rock that’s slated to take place during August 12 closing ceremonies.
According to London’s Metro online, Who manager Bill Curbishley told the Sunday Times, “I emailed back
saying Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to the
Who’s anthemic line ‘I hope I die before I get old’. If they have a round
table, some glasses and candles, we might contact him.”
Let the (board) games begin!
