The Bunbury Music Festival has announced its headliner acts
for the inaugural event to be held July 13-15, 2012 along Cincinnati’s riverfront, and they include
Jane’s Addiction (set to play July 13), Weezer (July 14) and Death Cab for
Cutie (July 15). Founded by veteran music and event promoter Bill Donabedian,
Bunbury Music Festival will feature 100 live performances on six stages
throughout Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove. There will also be a Tech Trade
Show. (The name of the event comes from an Oscar Wilde play, “The Importance of
Being Ernest” and means “to have a made up excuse to get out of doing
something boring.”)

“The Bunbury Music Festival will feature the best of our
local Indie bands with national and regional bands that fans may have seen at other
great festivals and concert venues,” said Donabedian, in a press release.”Fans
should think of this as an authentic music experience.”
