Watch U2 Documentary Film Trailer

Film unveiled last
night in Toronto.
“Lou Reed’s glasses, Jim Morrison’s pant, Elvis’ jacket (and a little bit of
his haircut)”: now THAT explains a lot!

Barely a day after after news broke that the U2 Achtung Baby film documentary From the Sky Down (directed by Davis
Guggenheim) would be airing on Showtime on Oct. 29, the official film trailer
has now been unveiled by the cable channel. It is, to say the least, one of the
best 3 minutes’ worth of trailer we’ve seen in a long time. You’ll see what we
mean:

Meanwhile, the film had its official premiere last night at
the Toronto Film Festival with both the director and bandmembers The Edge and
Bono in attendance. The Associated Press quoted Bono as telling the crowd, “We’re
very, very protective of our privacy, and especially, our creative process. Not
because we’re that precious, which we are. But more because of that old adage,
if you knew what went into the sausage, you wouldn’t eat the sausage.”

Rest assured, a lot of U2 fans are ready to chow down, Bono.
