Wilco Set Dates for Album, Tour

Seems like it was only earlier this week when we were looking at photos of Wilco’s big Solid Sound Festival that took place last weekend – and also checking out a couple of audience-shot videos that had Wilco unveiling some new material from their next album. Wait – that WAS earlier this week…

So today the band made the formal announcement for The Whole Love, which is being released Sept. 27 via their homegrown label dBpm. In addition, a fall tour has been inked in, featuring Nick Lowe as the opening act. Lowe, of course, has already been on Wilco fans’ minds of late: his tune “I Love My Label” is covered on the B-side of the recent Wilco single.
