It’s
always a good day at BLURT when we have some Sebastian Bach news. In fact, everyone’s
favorite erstwhile Skid Row frontman has been in the news a lot during the last
year or so, including cameos at TMZ last October involving surveillance video footage
of him getting into a fight with a bar owner in Ontario and, just last month, a
bust in New Jersey
for possession of marijuana.

Now
comes word that the volatile vocalist is prepping a new album for a September
27 release. Titled Kicking &
Screaming
(something that Bach definitely knows a thing or two about), it’s
 produced by Bob Marlette (Black
Sabbath, Shinedown, Atreyu, Filter) and features young virtuosic guitarist Nick
Sterling and drum pro Bobby Jarzombek (Halford, Riot, Iced Earth).  Of the
new effort, Bach commented, “I could not be happier with my new album. The
songs, performances and sound quality are beyond what I could have ever
imagined.  This is my best record yet and I can’t wait for all of you to
crank it!”

Bach, naturally, will be following up recent appearances at
summer rock festivals like M3 and Rocklahoma with more tour dates, including a
string of shows in August supporting Whitesnake and Tesla. Yank it, don’t crank
it, dude.
