For Humanity, a 4-day music and art
festival taking place during Memorial Day Weekend in Vernon, NJ, (May 27th-May
30th). It is called the Festival For Humanity because 33% of all proceeds will
go directly to the Kristin Brooks Hope Center (1-800-Suicide) and an additional 10% of all
Net Ticket Sales to the charities of Humanity


Upon entering the
festival, attendees will have to walk through Humanity Village
where all the non-profits will have tents. In addition, QPR Trainings for
suicide prevention will occur throughout the 4 day festival at no cost to the
trainee.  Oxfam, Peta, The American Red Cross, YMCA, Feeding America,
Vet2vet, Cop2Cop, Music for Humanity, DALI, To Write Love on Her Arms, Farm Aid
Member Regional Growers led by Abundant Life Farm’s Linda Borghi
and a long
list of others will be joining in support with a focus on health and nutrition
as a foundation for strong mental health. With weekend attendance expected to
reach 25,000 to 30,000 people, oranizers are confident that the awareness,
outreach and fund raising achieved through the festival will set a new standard
for a “first of its kind” event.

international artists, they can find more information on submitting their work here. The Festival for Humanity invites visual artists to
submit and donate work to The Humanity Walls Project. This will be a mural of more than 240,000 square
feet and participating artists are invited to paint in advance of the event
weekend (shipping covered entirely), during the weekend events or may be given
the opportunity to paint on our recycled cloroplast if attendance is not an
option.  All contributions will be displayed during the festival and
select pieces will be chosen to benefit charity at silent auction.


The brand new 4-day music
and art festival at Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, New Jersey have announced Good
as one of the
headliners for Saturday, May 28th, John Popper and the Duskray
(from Blues
Traveler) have also been added for Sunday, May 29th. Other headliners include: Third Eye
Blind, From Good Homes, The New Pornographers, The Misfits, Sister Hazel, Cracker,
Soul Asylum, Amber Rubarth, Ansel Matthews, Bronze Radio Return, Caleb Hawley,
CC Coletti, Chrissi Poland, A Clear Blurr, Coolie Ranx, Duwende, The Gallery,
James Maddock Band, Kilby and Taylor, Matt Lowell, Modern Science, Nicola, Open
Book Trio, Quimby Mountain Band, Subcommittee, Swampadelica, The Drive,
