of Contemporary Music performed with
recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and first lady of Rockabilly Wanda
Jackson at an Oklahoma City
dedication ceremony this week renaming a street in her honor. The musicians
included students Jon Bohlen (bass) and Luke Buthman (guitar) along with
faculty members Peter Pollack (drums) Chris Hicks (guitar).
as “the sweet lady with the nasty voice” played a mini-concert that
included her songs “Right or Wrong,” “Mean, Mean Man” and
