She’s
back and we’re glad. After making a Gold-certified splash with her 2006 album Begin To Hope, Regina Spektor’s next
album is set to launch June 23.

Press
reps tell us Far has 13 “impressive
and accessible tracks” and is collaboration between Specktor and four
producers: Jeff Lynne (ELO, The Traveling Wilburys), Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre,
Eminem), David Kahne (Paul McCartney, The Strokes) and Garret
“Jacknife” Lee (Weezer, REM).

Spektor’s
site (Regina) doesn’t reflect the news but we
expect soon they’ll post some new tunes and dates of her upcoming world tour
that is scheduled to start in June.
