Metric Brings on the Fantasies

“Help I’m Alive” charts; tour announced

By Nancy Dunham

The wait for new
Metric music is over.

Fantasies, the band’s fourth full-length album, is
available on iTunes starting today. If that’s not enough, note you can grab a
CD April 14 release and buy tickets for the band’s U.S. tour in June.

All this is
happening just as the album’s first single, “Help I’m Alive,” debuts
at #1 on the FMQB Top 25 Singles Chart for U.S. Specialty (which publicists
couldn’t help but boast beat out music by Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Decemberists).

Check out the
band’s video and more news at its website: Metric.
