Lady Sovereign Announces U.S. Tour

“Everybody’s favorite
pint-sized rapper”?!? Mama said knock you out!

With her new album Jigsaw due April 7 on her own label Midget (distributed through EMI), Lady Sovereign –
“everyone’s
favorite pint-sized rapper” – will be doing a May tour of the U.S. and Canada. We are advised that just
two years ago she was playing small clubs, but “how time changes everything”: as
the main opening support for Gwen Stefani’s tour, she was playing for 1 million
people at Times Square on New Years Eve.

She’s
embarking on these dates with Chicago-based DJ Annalyze as well as a live
drummer.

Watch for a review of the new album in BLURT the week of the
album’s release…
