Acclaimed video and film director Liam Lynch has created the new Spinnerette
video for the title track off the band’s debut EP “Ghetto Love.”
Both the video and the “Ghetto Love” EP will be available as a
package digitally at www.SpinneretteMusic.com on December 11.

“I was over at Brody’s house and we were talking about the upcoming album.
We decided to collaborate for fun and do a homemade video. So she came over to
my place around midnight and I just shot her singing ‘Ghetto Love’ with a HDV
cam against a green screen. It was quick, casual, and fun. Brody is so awesome.
She’s just got it all. She’s the real deal. This album is her best work ever.
It’s so rare to find an album where you can listen to the whole thing from
start to finish and love every song.” expressed Liam Lynch.

“Liam Lynch is a genius. He has a brilliant imagination, is extremely
passionate and never stops working, creating or brainstorming, in fact he
barely sleeps. I gave him the record and he offered to make a video for the
song Ghetto Love – he is very loyal and loves to do things for his friends and
other people who inspire him. For the video, he made a beauty light for me out
of the metal ring of a lazy susan and gaff taped the “beauty” lights
on to it. It was like some frankenstein light monster. Liam’s creation worked like
a charm and the Ghetto Love video looks awesome,” said Brody Dalle.

After disbanding The Distillers in 2006, Brody Dalle took the last few years to
regroup and start a family with husband Joshua Homme. During this time, she
began focusing on a new direction to take her music and mapping out the path to
calling her own shots for her new project, Spinnerette. The 4 new songs on the
Ghetto Love EP – ‘Ghetto Love,’ ‘Valium Knights,’ ‘Distorting A Code,’ ‘Bury My
Heart,’ were penned by Brody Dalle and produced by Alain Johannes. The Liam
Lynch directed video for ‘Ghetto Love’ is currently only available at the
Spinnerette website as part of the “Ghetto Love” EP package. On
December 16th, the Spinnerette “Ghetto Love” EP only will also be
available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon and other digital outlets.

“Ghetto Love” was recorded at PinkDuck and 11AD studios in Los Angeles. Additional
musicians on the EP include Alain Johannes (Queens
of the Stone Age, Eleven), Tony Bevilacqua (The Distillers), and Jack Irons
(Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers).
