Key track from latest
album, shot in Las Vegas w/Piper Ferguson.

Although Brit singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt’s
recent album Beautiful Lie is only
getting a lukewarm reception in the U.S. — see the BLURT review HERE — he does
have a positively captivating new video for the song “Until Tomorrow Then.” It
was shot in Las Vegas
with director Piper Ferguson.
According to Ferguson,
“Ed has been a friend of
mine since 2002 when I photographed him at SXSW. Ed told me “Until
Tomorrow Then” is about writing the song as the world is coming to an end
and a couple are dying as they write it. To me that’s a very romantic,
psychedelic ending to a relationship, which is hopefully portrayed in a
charming way in this video. Then Ed said he wanted to do the video in Las Vegas in the middle of
Harcourt’s currently in London working on the score to the Donnie
Darko sequel S. Darko. Meanwhile, you
can check out the new video HERE.
