Album due in August,
memoir to follow in September
By Fred Mills
Okay, you’re read BLURT’s recent Juliana Hatfield feature,
right? The one where she spills the beans on her new album How To Walk Away (due Aug. 19 from Ye
Olde Records), her upcoming memoir When
I Grow Up (Sept. 29, Wiley & Sons) and more? She’s now got a U.S.
tour to go with the album and the book that will kick off in early September,
and it’ll be preceded by an appearance on the Jay Leno show Aug. 25.
Also in the works: On October 10th Hatfield will
appear at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London,
She’ll provide “a highly personal look at her life,” according to her
handlers, weaving passages from When I Grow Up in amidst songs from throughout her career. Lastly,
Hatfield will be appearing at the CMJ convention in NYC on Oct. 23.
Hey, as long as you’ve got Hatfield on your mind, check out the
cool pic we’ve got of her in the July/August digital magazine of BLURT – look
for the page where she’s sipping java from her new BLURT coffee mug!
