Surrender…. Or die!
By Blurt Staff
Following a 2015 sellout with 50,000 in attendance, the third annual LOUDER THAN LIFE festival returns to Champions Park near downtown Louisville on October 1 and 2. There are 35 bands slated to perform on three stages, including The Cult, Cheap Trick (recently profiled at BLURT), Slayer, Ghost, Disturbed and Korn. The festival will also feature plenty of bourbons and spirits, Gourmet Man Food and craft beer. The festival, produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, aims to celebrate the bourbon culture and culinary heritage of the city. Wimmer commented, “Louisville: The home of bourbon. Great people. Great food. How can those ingredients not make a perfect place to have a festival? This is a place you have to visit if you’re a lover of bourbon, a lover of food…a lover of life. I asked my team how we could top last year’s LOUDER THAN LIFE sellout. The easy answer? Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold.”
