Listen to New Regina Spektor Track; Album in Sept.

What is the shelf life of buzz-bands and buzz-artists, anyway… 2 years or less?

It’s not the most, um, dynamic track to come from an artist we’ve come to expect dynamic music from – that would be Regina Spektor. But hey, it’s something at least, since Reg hasn’t serenaded us since 2012, when What We Saw From the Cheap Seats appeared. Due September 30 on Sire, Remember Us to Life will feature the track “Bleeding Heart,” which you can listen to below. Or you can wait for the second single. Hey, there’s plenty of time! Oh, and go HERE to read our 2010 interview with the singer, although I have to say, as a relative newcomer to the Blurt fold, it’s one of the dullest things we’ve ever published. Who’s editing this stuff anyway? [Uh, me. But in my defense, I inherited that particular piece and the corresponding writer. Sorry. -Features Ed.]
