BLURT fave Liam Finn will unveil brand new music when he takes over Brooklyn’s Union Pool for a month-long residency, playing every Tuesday in March. The shows mark his first US dates of the year, joined by his band including long time collaborator Eliza Jane Barnes, brother Elroy Finn and special guests. The stellar songwriter is, of course, a member of of the rather legendary Finn family of classic popsters, and he recently toured his homebase of New Zealand. His new album, The Nihilist is out later this year via Yep Roc Records.
Earlier this month, SPIN premiered his blissfully haunting single “Snug as Fuck,” calling the track “an accomplished mini-epic imbued with lo-fi electronics and wispy vocals.”
