Incoming: New Heather Nova Album

Heather

Long awaited new record arrives next week.

Heather Nova 10th album, “The Way it Feels”, is out July 24. It’s described as “imbued with an atmosphere that feels both natural and yet somehow otherworldly… echoes of Americana, a bit of dark folk, distinctive vocals and Nova’s trademark, great songwriting.” It was recorded in Charleston, South Carolina with producers Josh Kaler and Jay Clifford.

Back in the alt-rock ‘90s Heather Nova’s second album “Oyster” topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic taking her on her first world tour. Her next album “Siren”, established her firmly in the world of indie rock, with singles charting worldwide. She performed at major festivals in Europe, the UK and the US as well as placing songs in major TV shows and film soundtracks. Her profile declined significantly during the following decade, but all along she continued to record and tour. Her previous album was 2011’s 300 Days At Sea.
